5 years later, he graduates and obtains the 1st Prize of the Conservatoire - very good mention and unanimous congratulations.
The wide range of his repertoire, ranging from the Renaissance era to contemporary and South American music, leads him to participate to prestigious festivals and to regularly play solo concerts.

In 2004, he creates in collaboration with the guitarist Elodie Bouny "Duo Adentro!". They reguarly play together and win in 2005 the 2nd Prize of the UFAM International Contest (Honor level).
 
After 2 years of studies with Pablo Marquez at the Superior Music Academy of Basel, René Lagos Diaz graduated in June 2007.

Since his youth, René Lagos Diaz cultivates a real passion for music.

At the age of 11, he starts playing the guitar with his grandfather in Chile, where his family comes from.
His artistic training starts in 1994 in Philippe Roux's class at the National Regional Conservatoire of Besançon.
